The College of Graduate Studies (CGS) of Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University – Mid La Union Campus (DMMMSU-MLUC) hosted academic delegates from Udon Thani Rajabhat University (UDRU) of Thailand for a professional dialogue on leadership, equity, and innovative practices in education on October 21, 2025.
Dr. Phunarat Phiphithkul, Dean of UDRU’s Faculty of Education, spoke on “Educational Leadership in Thailand and the ASEAN Context”. He highlighted cross-border collaboration and the development of leadership capacity in education.
Ms. Yada Chosungnoen, Chief of the Graduate Diploma Programme in Teaching Profession at UDRU, presented “Transformational Leadership and Family Engagement as Catalysts for Educational Equity in Rural Thailand”. She offered insights into how family involvement can drive equity in underserved communities.
Ms. Wanwisa Pomparsit, also of UDRU, explored “Digital Innovative Leadership in Practice: AI-Powered Models for Personalized Learning and Community Development”. She detailed digital approaches to enhance learning and community outcomes.
Dr. Cedric Anthony E. Ochoco, Dean of the College of Education of DMMMSU-MLUC, delivered a concise lecture on “Access for All: Equity in Internationalization Efforts”. He addressed inclusive strategies in global educational partnerships.
The dialogue hosted by Dr. Aloysius J. Aurelio, Dean of DMMMSU-MLUC CGS, facilitated a robust exchange on inclusive education, leadership innovation, and international collaboration.
